That's the point, why do we have to wait months to be able to play with more diversity after our main already has esoteric set lol.

you don't need Esoteric gear to play with more diversity. you can clear all content except Savage without any Esoteric pieces.

If people don't see the long-term problems with gearing the same way, every time, as you said forever.....only so long people will put up with the same old song and dance.

Also....there was a someone who made the suggestion to keep the 450 tomes per week cap, but to lock it by job, not character. 450 cap/week for WAR, 450 cap/week for PLD, etc. Keeps the grind, keeps the lockout on all things.....but allows everyone(who doesn't have multiple jobs at/near cap? Seriously.) to gear all their jobs. It actually makes it so people need to play more since they will be farming tomes for multiple jobs at once.

Best solution, imo.
