    Esoteric cap

Since you've added even more classes to a game where you can have all of them on a single character, could you remove the weekly cap 10 weeks after its release?
With a weekly cap of 450, full left side (including weapon) costs 4500 esoterics, which takes exactly 10 weeks to obtain. After 10 weeks, you're suposed to have a full set and no longer have the adventage of obtaining gear too fast right after raid is released, and having sets not shared among classes, this is kinda frustrating for people who like hoping from class to class doing content (personal reference here on healers).

Like this thread if you share the same opinion to make it have at least some impact and make the dev team notice, please.

It is actually less to obtain than poetics was actually. Use to cost 1300 poetics and the tome stone to get a ilvl120 weapon. Now a weapon is only 990 and no tome stone required. Baby steps.

Its up for debate, but I think it is fine where it is. Maybe a little more we can earn a week than it is currently. I don't think we should be able to fully equip various jobs before the next patch hits. Plus we have tokens and Savage gear to use also.

^^^ Completely agree with this. I'm a firm believer in that it should take some time to gear up your main class, not to mention all your alt classes.

I think the OP's point was that 10 weeks from now, this content is going to be rather old, which makes the time gate of tomestone gear a little silly. I agree. Time gating initially makes sense, but after a bit, it's just a needless burden.

Yeah, not much point in keeping the cap beyond the first class.

The way they're setting it up 3.1 will be out at the time you fully max out, and will raise the cap.
It is a shame for alt-aholics and kind of annoying choosing between my DRK and WAR, but oh well.

Might be old content but you know 3.1 is probably a couple of months away and then its time for lower ilvl gear from easy 24-man so it will probably be good for another 3-4 months after that so until 3.2. Please look forward to it.

I really hate this "we don't want hardcore players to get gears too fast and casual players feel they were left behind".

nobody cares about being left behind. when a new patch comes out, the old gears will be inferior to the new ones anyway so why do we need to wait for casual players when they themselves don't give a damn?

You don't have to wait for casual players. Savage drops gear for the hardcore players. You can effectively gear your main twice as fast if you are good enough to clear the content.

It's more like "we don't want the hardcores to gear up everything in a week and then complain about not having any content, and then unsub until the next patch."

This is about the money. By forcing people to slowly upgrade gear instead of binging it being done in three days, they are forcing you to keep your sub up for more than just the month of the patch.
