I never understand this logic. Do you also get more gil in FF Tactics once one of the characters unlocked more than 1 job so you can buy best gear for all the jobs of this character?
What's funny to me is the fact the weekly is capped at 450 but you can hold 500, why not make the cap 500 to match the max you can hold?

Keeping with tradition the first set they come out with is job specific so they can have the iconic look of each job. Myth gear was class specific too and had a cap of 300. I am sure the next 2 sets that come out with the next 2 raids will not be job specific.two reasons
1) more of the same is boring, an expansion is suppose to come with more innovation (i personally, don't care about this)
2) it's been well over a year since the tomestone gear is 100% job specific. not so bad when it was one Fending/Noct set for WAR and PLD, now it's 3 tank classes and 1 set of gear for each.

I honestly don't care, I have not done roulette for two weeks now and have not played at all this week except to check ventures. Most likely done with the game as I came back for 3.0 expecting better things then what we got.
I was just making an observation.

3.1 will bring the next 24-man raid... And if the past is anything to go by, the ilevel for drops in that raid will be i200. With a loot lockout of one item per week.
Making Esoterics uncapped around the same time does not really make sense...
Esoterics will likely go uncapped only with 3.2. It is however possible and reasonable to increase the weekly cap with 3.1.
Glad I decided to make 2 characters so I can get 450 per char.
