So, you like grinding then? Cos that's basically what endgame is. You're either grinding for tomes, or you're grinding for gear. Either way, you're doing the same 3 things over and over til you get a new piece of gear. Then what? A new piece comes out and makes your current gear look pathetic, so you grind again. I enjoy leveling up because I get to do a range of different content. I don't grind the same 2 dungeons for law tomes, nor do I see the inside of the same primal arenas or raids.

I also get to play a range of different jobs as I level through each of them. I enjoy the variety. Again, don't assume just because it bores you that it bores everyone else.

We get it. You like something that a whole five other people like. You can stop trying to make everyone else like it now.

DAoC is still kicking (barely). Go over there.

The only thing that really needs changing is the level synching for duties that are lower level than you are.

The level synch as it works today prevents you from using higher level abilities, skills and spells. Which makes it more annoying to run low level duties than it needs to be.
Change the synch feature so that we have full access to everything we have learned, even if at gimped potency, and things would be much better.

Grinding the same three dungeons over and over again is actually MORE repetitive than leveling a class. So the OP doesn't make any logical sense.

Thank you for talking on my behalf, this is exactly how I feel towards the whole "levelling" thing.

    (It actually isn't).

I enjoy levelling, both new and old classes - it gets me reacquainted with the job itself, and any new skills they may gain along the way.

Having a load of new skills thrown at me is more of a deterrent, and id prefer to get them steadily as my character levels up.

If you don't like levelling that's fine but please don't speak for me.

The only FF that I know of with a level cap of 100 was FF8, and that game was awful.

    Awful huh?

But what does a cap have to do with a game's quality? =P I'd just like nice and even numbers.

Since when are high game scores from magazines indicative of the quality of the game? FF8 was awful to a lot of people.

Steam's reviews aren't from magazines or whatever, they're indicative of the option of the majority who played them on that platform. Please let's not start this here though.
