Great news, people don't like leveling in MMOs... o.O Really?

If you love grinding dungeons that much, you would realize you can skip most of those sidequests & ignore every FATEs, but still leveling up fast enough to enjoy the story quests. Dungeons give the best exp in HW. People reached 60 on 2nd day of HW release, took 2 more days if they grind from lv30.

I tried to come back to GW2 before HW was out, & I felt empty, no idea where to go, what to do, where's the new contents, even with some old guildmates showing me around, after a few days I felt like I accomplished nothing, then I discovered that if I didn't login into GW2 during each content period, I have to pay to unlock them. At that point, I decided to quit, again.

That's what happen when there're no quests to introduce you to new areas, & no levels to progress. Some people may prefer it that way, but I'll stick with the traditional route.

Actually, ignoring the sarcasm in this post, there are MMOs with no gear(or gear with no stats), no leveling and no bosses. They're called social MMO's. The OP might actually like them. Furcadia is one. It's a social MMOs where you can customize your character and the world around it. A few other suggestions for the OP: Wurm Online, IMVU, Hello Kitty Online and Habbo Hotel.

Not trying to tell you to leave OP! Don't get me wrong. Just giving you some ideas.

Just to add more onto the main topic: all of my friends enjoyed leveling. The OP is probably the first person I've seen complain about leveling as a whole, instead of just how fast or slow it is.

We would still get it without a level cap increase. Only that the reward would be no exp, but something else. Only way SE will stop to give us sidequests would be if SE also stop to give us new areas, because the main focus of sidequests is telling us about the every day life of people in a village, a camp or in a settlement. If there is a new area, there will be new sidequests.

Also, I enjoyed them. Especially the ones from the dragons (like the hide&seek game quest) and the one with the Miqo'te in the hunter village.

And I think the max. level in every FF game is 99?

I prefer it if they wouldn't go higher than lvl75 or if they really have to bring a higher cap, never go higher than 99.

    THIS should be FUN??
Why would you skip the quest and Fate textboxes? You miss half the interesting bits of lore and personality in the game that way, and then half the time, you miss it twice over when that same quest or npc gets referenced again somewhere else.

Note to Devs: If we don't get a postmoogle-type quest about a certain Fate NPC from Western Coerthas, I'll be very disappointed.

I feel like ending it on an odd number would kill me a little.

That guy was a pain in the butt. A thorn in my side.

    Wait, scratch that, reverse it.

The problem isn't the levelling, the problem is levelling alt classes. Of course, that might have more to do with Northern Thanalan still being the best place to level al the way to 60.
