    If a fight is designed to favor one or another, then yes, that's a problem. And it was a problem in 2.0 on release too. Rain of Death had a 10% damage reduction attached to it, and it was a godsend for any sort of progression group (much like monk's DK during FCoB). Fights were designed in a way that melee was a liability (again, much like FCoB in context of dragoons).

    Not saying MCH/BRD dps is that far behind, after the changes to WM/GB they do have te potential to at least keep up with melee/casters, to the same relevitiy as it was in 2.0. It's just... I don't agree with the design philosophy. If they wanted to lower their overall damage because of the regen, why it on in a way that they naturally do less damage without using those support, but an additional damage penalty for using it?
