that loot system is a mix of CT (weekly loot, but don't lock you out of the content once you get your loot) and Quarn (hard), Sastasha (hard) and Snowcloak token loot system.
So, nothing new in FF XIV, just mixed together what is already here
This new system is vastly superior to the old. The chance of an item going to waste is substantially reduced like this.
With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
How would rolling a 7 make you get loot in any loot system?
Maybe you should get some friends and play with them.
I prefer the system Guild Wars 2 used, where every single person participating in the run receives dungeon currency for their time and effort, and you can save up that currency to eventually purchase gear specific to that dungeon. In this fashion, you are *always* making progress on your goals every time you go to the dungeon. It completely removes randomness out of the equation, and no time is ever wasted on a run that amounted to nothing.
If you're in a static, time is never wasted anyway, as someone will usually get something, which helps your group advance as a whole. :PI prefer the system Guild Wars 2 used, where every single person participating in the run receives dungeon currency for their time and effort, and you can save up that currency to eventually purchase gear specific to that dungeon. Unless of course dragoon items drop and no one is one. But this new system should help that.
What is this? Are people already clearing Alex, and complaing about the loot?
Hopefully we can agree that most runs across all the servers are not performed with a static, making that a poor consolation a majority of the time.
