Songs are our main attraction, you're literally talking about running up to a tank during that fight too? I got news for you Lewt, you. are. ranged. unless it's for repelling shot then why would you even be near a monsters butt to begin with!? Gosh... The only exceptions should be fights like Chimera with Dragons Voice.

Anyways while songs are our main attraction, yes mobility is a great thing and was helpful at times like T7, T8, T12 but summoners and other jobs have reportedly done the same thing if it was needed before with more damage when they are dps'ing so that's completely invalid.
