This! and to be quite honest i've played mch myself and its not a bad class when played right its just you have those special people out there that think blank shot is part of the rotation when all it does is proceeds to annoy people especially the tank!

Please note I'm not bashing it at all, and I respect his efforts to do so early on, but when I read the rotation and saw Blank in it, I stopped there.
Blank is an extremely situational skill that's really only good for soloing or perhaps interrupting an enemy attack (a la T9 Green/Red golems). Hasn't been on my hotbar since lv 31, and it's likely never coming back. Sure it's an oGCD and against something you can't knock back anyways, it's extra damage, but that doesn't warrant using it at every opportunity. Did the mob get away from the tank? Sure, send it back. Did your DPS buddy zone out and is about to eat otherwise-avoidable damage? Go for it. But in an otherwise standard battle setting where things are under control? Don't be that guy. . .
Ammunition minus bullet plus a cap to allow pressure to build enough to make a gunshot noise equals a cartridge that can still PUSH a bullet down the barrel and across the intervening airspace.
At least one actor has injured themself on a set by putting the barrel of a functioning gun to their head and squeezing the trigger with a blank loaded.

i use it as a metod to lower the dmg the tank gets, basically i use the blank skill then i use the bind skill.... obviusly i do use it on a target what is not bein attacked at all
on brayflox nm it is usefull to do that if theres no a job whit sleep on the second boss
The MCH seems like the 2.0 SMN, many people were talking bad about it and with parsers at hand. SMNs were left out and all DEVs did was nerf it by removing thunder as a crossclass DoT. After few months people understood finally how it worked and it found its well deserved place in the party.
Read your skills tooltip, experiment, share and take with other MCHs in a dedicated thread you can open in the DPS thread and things. Learn how to push your damage/utility to the max and things will end up nicely.
If someone lock you out just for your job of choice try to explain them and if they don't listen well.. Do you really want to play with idiots? Just report them.
Sad but true. When party finder implemented and Baha-1's weekly limit was lifted, there were rarely any SMN slots (talking about PUGs for farming not statics of course). I haven't come across any MCH who would knock back targets at a wrong time, but some of the talk in this thread reminds me of a party member (WHM) who kept using Fluid Aura on the mobs as I tanked it. I asked why he did that and he said "FREE DPS!"... and kept doing it til the end.
Frankly, MCH just doesnt do a lot of damage. Its not a matter of nobody having figured out how it works, or the effect of a MCH being hidden in the parsers because its not tracked, or anything: It just doesnt do the numbers. And it especially does not do the numbers reliably, which can add extra issues for burst phases, when the procs just wont come.
I play a DRK tank and MNK as mains, and thus I am well aware of a couple major balance problems. I also dont leave anyone out of anything intentionally. But my guilds setup is BRD + MCH because people enjoy these jobs, and at this point in time, this means there will be no Bismarck Ex unless we have a perfect setup for the rest.
Someone has to pick up the slack of a MCH (or BRD) beyond the first, and so far, there are MAYBE summoners who do excessive damage to even it out a little... but other than that, MCH are just weak DPS and thus unsuitable for groups who are working at the edge of their DPS capabilities on DPS checks.
Smh, People in this thread who DON'T play MCH and/or have not leveled one up to 60 saying the job is fine because of the "other" MCH they see (providing no proof btw either of these stellar numbers) and that we should L2P.
MCH does have really good burst yes, but after, the sustained is pathetically low and brings the overall DPS way down! Relying on RNG and procs after CD's are used is not fun gameplay!
Furthermore, Gauss Barrel which is supposed to increase damage by 20%, only adds 20-30 to your overall DPS on a DUMMY (and only when in 170 gear, anything less and it's a loss)! Take that and throw it into a boss situation where you need to move, it's even worse!
This is not a Learn to Play issue, this is a poorly tested/poorly designed issue!
I'm getting tired of this. I fail to see how Alexander will be any different. I see PF groups like this ALL THE TIME! The answer is not and should not be "Get friends."
I didn't level this class to be omitted from 40% of the PF groups! I didn't level this class to be ridiculed and made fun of upon even entering a group! I didn't level this class to be kicked from content just for being a MCH! Fix this damn class!
