Ninja's were so OP when they come out and EVERYONE changed classes and spent the new poetics on them, the few DRG's that were left kept at their class and when ninja's were nerfed and dragoon's were buffed, you could instantly tell the players that only played the class because it was OP, not because they were good at it.

I have a BRD in my party and would not refuse a MCH either in the same spot. People that are kicking the new classes because they see 1 or 2 bad apples are only hurting themselves. I've seen MNK's do 200 DPS constant in Neverreap or BLM's that do lower dps then the tanks. All in all, bad players will be bad and the good ones will rise above all the challenges to break the expectations set by those that do not understand the class.

It appears as though SE will wait until after Alexander has been out for some time to make balance adjustments...

MCH is not being welcome to Extreme Primal runs or kicked from parties just for being a MCH.

1) It's only natural for them to wait until after the raid opens to make balance adjustments as needed, rather than "balancing" now, and having them over-perform and nerfing after raid, which would cause more of an uproar.

2) I've not seen this anti-mch behavior. my FC happily welcomed one of our raid members to swap from playing monk to playing MCH when HW landed. They enjoy it more, we enjoy them being happy. We're gonna be running EX primals soon and plan to go into Alexander the night it comes out. Maybe you're just associating with the wrong people?

So, have some friends OP. I'm sure they would be willing to take you along even though the job your play is a liability due to poor balancing.

Edit: Also forgot the "Make your own group" argument. Love that one. I'm sure people will be eager to join.

I'm not welcoming them anywhere if they don't stop using that knock back ability.

The first time I ever DFed with my very first MCH, I was on MNK.
They used it for what seemed like every available CD.
I wanted to -murder- them.

That said, thats the only MCH I've seen do that.
The only time I've used BLank in a party situation, myself, was when a (ranged) co-DPS pulled a wandering mob while the tank was grabbing a chest. knocked it away only to give more time for the tank to come back.

Funny thing is the Nerf to ninja really wasn't much of a nerf was mostly one to shut people up about Raiton hitting them in pvp I guess the satisfaction of people knowing they got something nerfed eh who knows. It was less then a 1% dps loss was more of a AoE nerf and hey what do you know ninja has the absolute worst aoe as a dps.
Also I doubt any smart group will not want a BRD or MCH.

Class balancing has nothing to do with the need to play with friends or anything. i've not leveled my mch or played bard yet, I do not know where those classes are at 60, I do know the mch in my fc does some pretty decent burst damage. I was simply saying that waiting until after alexander releases to pull in any balance fixes is a viable solution, so they don't OVER-tune something and then are forced to nerf it later

The first MCH I partied with wound up being part of my DD run, and instead of pissing me off with Blank, he impressed me when he used it to knock mobs INTO the protective circle, not out of it.
