Shots Fired: A Machinist Guide

I'd like to aim a quick discussion at useful macros for cleaning up hotbars and using a lot less hotkeys to make Machinist more manageable.

The first macro is stacking Head Graze and Suppressive Fire onto the same hotkey. As far as I'm aware, at close range, Stun will always trump Silence. Please let me know if you can think of a situation when this is false. So I use
/macroicon "Head Graze"
/ac "Suppressive Fire"
/ac "Head Graze"

Needless to say, you could also stack all 3 Raging Strikes, Hawk's eye and Blood for blood onto a macro to either mash them all out at once or spread them out.

Similar to the Stun or Silence macro above, you could do a Gauss Round or Ricochet stacking macro as well. I can see this one having slight issues due to Ricochet hitting nearby mobs as well, which can affect mobs that are under CC.

What are some other macros that are useful as well? Should I bind Heartbreak to Split, Slug and Clean shot as well?

Well, I dont use any macros, because I want to keep full control of my skills.
But those 3 was an idea of mine to clean up my skill-bar ^^.

I like this ones idea but I can't seem to get it to work properly. If I input <wait.2.5> it'll work, but it's delayed. My recast time is 2.38 which is the problem I believe. Can you get this down to 2 or under at 60?


arctic, I believe you should switch that macro around. Bloodletter and Misery end should be at the start of the macro to prevent the GCD skill from trying to trigger first. At least that's how I understand it. I could be wrong.

I want to do macros so badly to clear up my skill bar, but from past experiences macros cause delay. They will make anything off global cool down only activate when the GCD has finished. Then you're scratching your head trying to figure out where your DPS loss is at. I mean Heavy Shot > Bloodletter macro seemed brilliant, I'd just spam Heavy Shot and Bloodletter would trigger when it was off cool down or proc'd! But it actually hurt my numbers.
