I don't even know why i'm replying at this point. If the boss enrage at 1% then tell your warrior to drop his tanking stance when offtanking. Or tell your healer to stop spamming cure II/adlo so the bard can sing less.
30 dps added to 2500 dps fighting a boss with 1million hp is literally 3-4 seconds saved

While it's small, at its inception the DPS checks were pretty dang tight for certain things. T12, pushing 4 Bennu was pretty close first week or two (ironically SMN was the best at it then due to Blackfires having vuln up rather than HP down) and 40 DPS could be a Bennu for sure. The difference between 4 Bennu and 5 Bennu, man, not only was it a massive heal/tank survivability boost, but having to burn down another Bennu was a serious DPS sink, meaning you had to spend more time and more CDs in Bennu phase. T13, it could be an extra Flatten in P1, or the difference between seeing enrage or not seeing it in T13.
I agree that 30-40 DPS isn't a big deal in a vacuum, but when it lets you do or skip things you couldn't normally do, that was where it let you shine.

If 30 dps was such a big deal back then, it goes to show how fucked BLM is because the difference between smn and blm when movement is involved is more than 30While it's small, at its inception the DPS checks were pretty dang tight for certain things. Now that I have gotten to 60, yeah I can say SMN is better at AOE than BLM. Even before 3.0, the BLM had to be really good to best me at AOE. Now I absolutely wreck everything in my path, and it feels damn good! However, I still feel for BLM mains, I did start out as a Thaumaturge after all. I believe if SE nerfed Flare, then Fire II should receive a buff in order to bring BLM up to par with SMN. We are casters, we are AOE gods after all. Also based on what I have read /heard, BLM is totally fine until they have to move. High movement cripples them even more than before. SE has to take a look at how Enochian, Fire IV, and Blizzard IV work again. I'm surprised they haven't let Firestarter stack up til two since so many requested it to help with movement. Let's not play the Nerf this job because mine sucks game guys, instead try to offer reasonable changes to improve your job.
Personally I am baffled as to why F4 and B4 do not refresh their respective buffs.
I understand that they want us to still use the older spells during Enochian, but thats why the rank 4 spells should "refresh but not apply".
As I understand, at 60 you have to manage refreshing Enoch, maintaining AF3 while spamming F4, and all the other movement related aspects.
At the very least allow F4 to refresh AF3, so we will have to track just our mp, Enoch timers, and movement, using B3 and F3 to perform the required Alignment Switching, while having F4 maintain (but not apply) AF3.
IDK, I actually like the current synergy between F1, F3, and F4. They all have a use and it's a maintenance system, it creates a kind of rotation but also a priority system when things go wrong.Personally I am baffled as to why F4 and B4 do not refresh their respective buffs.

I just wish the F1 usage wasn't so strict due to timers. Heaven help you if you get interrupted near the end of your F4 or your F1 cast and don't have Swiftcast.
