You are largely overreacting. HQ items will still be very valuable because getting HQ mats will be harder according to Yoshi's post. And before you sell your +3 items, there will be no +1 and +2 items, it will be NQ or HQ and +2 might end up converted in NQ, so I'd stick with your +3 items if I were you.
Most likely anything +1/2/3 will all be converted to HQ since they are all literally HQ versions.
