The question you need to ask yourself is what does it mean to people in real life when stuff like this is added? Race looks like a little girl, acts like a little girl, but it some ~*~1000 year old~*~ little girl is still a little girl. Fantasy worlds and races aren't just something you make up in a vacuum, if it looks like a child and it's wearing a thong and a bikini that just barely keeps them covered, chances are that was designed by some pedophile looking to get his rocks off. Guess who's getting their rocks off to those "Looks like little girls BUT DONT WORRY THEY'RE ADULTS" races? Pedophiles. I don't get what's so hard to understand to understand about the concept of having a "safe place" for pedophiles to exhibit their sexualities is going to encourage more pedophiles to come to the game wanting that "Safe place" to also exhibit their sexualities.

So you go in, and socialize, turns out, you are just in love with this cheesecake shop because you feel welcomed by the fact that they actually suit your needs for once and there's even company! So, turns out, you decide more the merrier, you begin to invite your friends who also love cheesecake to the story and they invite their friends and the social environment grows larger and larger. This is how most sorts of community with an established identity start. The issue with this is by introducing an actual child (Looks like a child, acts like a child) race, you begin to cater to the pedophile's wants, and they start to invite their pedophile friends and word starts to spread that "Oh hey FFXIV lets you make a super kawaii lolis/shotas and the GMs don't even care about ERP most of the time".. Guess who that's gonna attract?


Anyways with regards to "Aged" characters, didn't we not get an actually aged Midlander woman til 2.4 with a Moogle quest and Hildebrand? Hell isn't Thancred hasn't changed in 2 decades apparently, guess that means Midlander men are eternally young too, eh? No seriously, either Thancred a 40 year old good with a make up (Which makes sense considering he's suppose a "lady's man" and hits on both Minfilia and her adoptive mother at one point and time). The reality is SE just hasn't made a properly "Aged" miqo'te model yet... Just like how Blizzard kept Anduin Wrynn at age 8 for like 10 years.

Chris Henson's How To Catch a Predator! You know what they do? They pretend to be underage children to get predators caught. Why does that even work? Because pedophiles look for ways to express their sexuality, aka children.
