Personally, I would prefer this game to steer away from the (potentially playable) obnoxiously cute races for a few years. That Miqo'te child just looks incredibly unnatural compared to the Hyur and Elezen children... hell, even to adult Miqo'te (do Miqo'te ears AND eyes start off massive before their skull 'grows into them'?). Way too anime for my liking.

Though if people still want a cute playable race, then why not the Vanu Vanu? Those are adorable.

But she's mostly a human girl, so... it just looks weird.

Didn't Yoshi said that was not a child? What about cross-lalafell race? I've seen a super cute lalafell-like child with roegadyn hair/nose on the ending of Heavensward...

Q85. What is with the small Miqo’te that can be seen in that one area? Is this something we will be able to choose as a new race in the future?

A85. Please look forward to future development. It’s difficult to implement races that have expression limitations and other issues. By the way, Lalafell heads are too big to treat them as children!

Is what was said (very vague, though I think he might be saying no?). Also, it's a Miqo'te child (there's two in the game. One that appears sometime's in Idylshire and another you can talk to in Mor Dhona).
