The constant disbanding of Steps of Faith

I just had to share my latest experience post nerf because this just highlights the problems with this fight and the game in general, really. That and I have a 30 minute wait timer.

I do my Trials Roulette, and lo and behold, I get Steps of Faith. Of course I'm going to give it a go; I'm curious to see how hard the fight was nerfed. I volunteer to take cannons as a healer and ask a tank to go with me. Two minutes later, after a period of total silence, a few markers appear over people's heads and change a couple of times.

"OK" I think, "It's probably an FC/premade or something discussing a strat."

Three minutes later, we still haven't pulled. I ask the question and make a bit of small talk. "So, are you guys in an FC together?"

Another minute and a half passes.

"huh?"

"Are you guys discussing a strat or something? Just wondering why we haven't pulled yet."

"We don't know the fight."

At this point, I decide to just cut my losses and leave. I'm sorry, but experiences like this are EXACTLY why people do not wish to help on this fight.

Are people that anti-social and inept that they are willing to just look at a mob for 8 minutes expecting someone to spoonfeed it all to them than open their mouths or did I just meet the only party that took "silent protagonist" far too literally?
