Should Alexander hard drop highest item level gear?

Heh. I will admit you got me there. I cannot find the interview I read about how it is expected the easy version of Alexander will be beaten within 1-2 days. Honestly that is why the NA servers have such low BC turn out. They have no reason too since they can be as strong as people who do go through the song and dance with jump rope death mechanics that is the high end of ff 14. If tome gear remained 15-20 i level below the high end raid gear then it would be a better incentive for people to start raiding more often.

I believe half of alexander raid should be assumed your team has high end starter 60 gear+crafted then geared up enough in alexander gear in order to advance to the final parts of the raid. And you should not be able to adequitely gear up multiple jobs at once. The system should work that it takes you enough time to gear up your main job with enough time to use the weaker gear for your alts. 3-4 ish months to fully BIS gear up a job is a good pace in line with how fast SE puts out new tiered items. If I play a bard for 3 months and focus mainly on that one job I should be better geared then someone who constantly swaps around jobs. I understand that the end of ARR that most people have 1-3 jobs all fully maxed out in 130 gear but the system should be set up with a person having a main job in mind and 2-3 alt jobs that are a good tier in gear below.
