This is absolutely the top o' the mountain gospel truth right here. And is something that so many have a hard time wrapping their minds around. Are top-tier raiders in the minority? Yes. But adjusted for actual play time and content consumption, I'd emphatically agree that the playing field is much more level.

No one likes catering to the extremities only. That's why a lot of folk came to hate coil to begin with, and why there was a forum to do about the booing during fan fest at a story mode coil.

If nothing else, the stats and thread show that Alexander has an audience, and the common view of endgame/pf may be causing a chilling effect on folks participating in endgame. If not addressed, the bleeding edge of raiding may remain limited in scope.

Afaik EU rly was never very good at the whole raiding feature in any game of this type. I just dont think it was ever THIS bad

There are plenty of people who have tried raiding but get bashed to death by making a mistake or two. We all start somewhere and we all need our time to learn new stuff, and if you get bashed on just because you are not already as Pro as others, it really takes away the fun to even keep trying.

They were booing at coil nerfs (to already existing coil), not story mode coil. I don't think anybody has a problem with story mode coil to be honest, they just don't think it's necessary until 3.0. Personally I'm glad that both sides are getting attention in 3.0, maybe it will give some more people the confidence they need to actually try the hard versions.

Odds are the rewards for the hard version will be superior so it doesn't really matter. I didn't read the other 38 pages so if you're replying to somebody I missed it.

Here's the thing... get your practice in using the DF. Bring some thick skin because there will always be some commandos in the group. But keep this in mind. They're using DF as well, so chances are they're not entirely the cream of the crop either. Again... the loudest and most obnoxious in raids/instances tend to have some degree of insecurity running thru their veins.

Once you start to get the hang of mechanics, set up progression/clear parties in PF. These will always fill up. Just be patient.

Wrong, EU has held 98% or around that number of the world firsts in WOW.

Only other regions that has got a world first over EU was 1 kill from south Korea (HC Deathwing) and 1 kill from china (Yogg 0 lights).

The main reason those players from EU guilds in WOW not playing this game is the servers are in Canada and are not on equal footing against Japan with much better infrastructure.
