Despite it's RP stereotype, Balmung ranks pretty high (one of the top 5?) on the list of FBoC clears in NA servers.

Afterall, not everyone in Balmung is an RPer

why would we be competing? it's an MMO for crying out loud. you want competition go play a fighting game or one of those blasted FPS games where people gank you.

Whats wrong with competition? Even Yoshi P congratulated lucrieza for their world first, and hell even blue garter for T9 normal mode clear, and yes, this is an mmo, this is not a come over for tea party game either.

what's wrong with most of the competition I see in this game is it gets nasty. friendly competition I'm ok with but a lot of people get downright nasty if they think you are a better player than they are.
I play this for fun, not to compete with anyone.

That is player dispute and it should not be bulldozed out of the way, let us players deal with that, if you don't want to then stay clear from it, and its fine if you don't want to compete, just let that only fall on your self and don't take others fun away.

You have your choice, don't take others people choices away and if that means some people butting heads then so be it, its all part of the social element with mmos/human society.

Afaik EU rly was never very good at the whole raiding feature in any game of this type. I just dont think it was ever THIS bad

Wrong, EU has held 98% or around that number of the world firsts in WOW.

Only other regions that has got a world first over EU was 1 kill from south Korea (HC Deathwing) and 1 kill from china (Yogg 0 lights).

The main reason those players from EU guilds in WOW not playing this game is the servers are in Canada and are not on equal footing against Japan with much better infrastructure.

Hmm, what is annoying, is how this will affect Alexander. I understand wanting more people to raid but, seriously? Reward those who don't care to learn to press buttons?
