I don't think all of the older player base is asking for an easy mode copy of xi. I for one just wish there was more to xiv. I think it took me over a year to get my first 75 in xi, was just so much to do. With xiv they released it without content and perhaps unintended leve bonus that let a number of people max out rank 50s simply because there was nothing else to do.

I think the OP's point was, we bought xiv expecting similar story drive ff experience and thus far have got leve recycling and the possibility of raid fest.

No idea what the hell you are talking about. I started XI in 2002 and it took me a year to get 75 because lvl caps were ridiculous, you waited for parties for hours, took forever to get to exp spots (traveling to sky to exp on weapons, remember that fun?). There were few missions, few NMs, and one of the most painful grinds under the sun to 75 when Zilart was the only expansion out.
