It's same as interview... You have experience? Are you fast learner? Are you willing to work over time? Are you willing to travel?
Some PF are something like that so that's why not much new player want to bother with it...

The PF leader might be forget that they also start from beginner and maybe more dumb than that with 100 try, but want someone so perfect to run with him...

People are simply scared from the hard endgame raids due to the community. I have yet to clear T6-13. (T7 is already cleared)
But honestly I want to do this raid for the story and the cutscenes.

But seeing Party Finders with messages like "Know your shit or gtfo!" makes me very hesitant to join one or create one. I cleared T1-5 with party finder but back then people would give me death stares for watching the cutscenes in the dungeon... So yeah, community is what is chasing people away from endgame content.

I will call to attention one important detail here.

This means that blackrock foundry has been open for 80 days, or a little over 11 weeks of lockouts, and FCoB has been open for 186 days, or over 26 weeks of lockouts.

Honestly, the numbers should be slightly higher for FCoB, just because of the date of the content.

You guys say that but think about it for a second. If the small portion of the population creates PF that turns way people like you, on their side or otherwise, there must be a lot of you running around. How come you guys aren't forming up? This isn't like the real world where a corporation turns away 100 applicants and the 100 applicant can just turn around form their own because they'd need capital. All you need in this game is time. You can't be telling me a server with a population in the thousands and people interested in the content in the hundreds somehow their available timeslots could not find at least more than 8 people with agreeable time slots?

FYI, my t9 and fcob team, 4 of them cleared t5 a few weeks before we pushed them into t9 and iirc, of the 4, 2 reached level 50 for the first time a couple weeks before the t5 clear. It was tough trying to learn and down t9 before echo kicks in (1 month left at the time) while some members have much less experience with their class than they should but we did it (t9 and fcob clear before echo). We did try to recruit people with experience before what I described happened, to replace the people that bailed on us for irl reasons (one didnt tell us they're moving countries with a completely different time zone, one said they're moving home but didnt contact us after two weeks so the others just left) but we eventually gave up and just decided to train the new comers in our fc.

While the circumstances forced our hand to aim 'low' the fact is that it still happened. I can't promise coil practice runs to any passerby I see like I'm picking up stray cats since I don't speak for my very small fc, I'm pretty sure there are other groups that recruit people with no prior experience.

There's plenty of training parties/beginning statics/statics with clear that are willing to take new people in the content with them. Implying that one can't find a party for the raid content is just a sign of laziness, at least in our server. You can always make your own parties and keep tab with the people you play with..

Believe it all you want, but most people without the clear are that way for a reason; not having the actual potential to clear the fight and/or the motivation to find people to clear it with you. Anyone who meets the required skill floor who really wants to beat the fight eventually will.

The same trend is in any remotely difficult content (T5, T9) content. People will find a way to shift (at least the partial) blame from themselves onto the shoulders of others.

Only farm parties and aim to kill parties tend to have a very specific group of people they want in. But then again, any new person to T13 who thinks they can just hop in and kill/clear are way over their heads.... there's no point for an aim to kill party take a new person and backtrack their progress by leaps and bounds just so a new person can get into a competent party.

Yeah. That's low. Only two bosses more than 1% of the playerbase have actually defeated.

To be fair, your quoting numbers from MYTHIC raids basically akin to our Savage mode, id make a guess and say 14s numbers for savage content are similar.

Anyone notice how allot of players react defensively to the OP? Instead of looking at the percentages and moving on they feel the need to post their personal reason as to why they have not cleared coil. This is a defensive manouver your brain makes you do to preserve your own ego(special snowflake status). Your brain has to come up with a reason to justify why you are unable to do certain things.

Even if the reasons are true there is no reason to go out of your way to explain said reasons unless you feel you are being attacked.

So true, with current content being overlooked & so many players now focusing on final coil & relics, as soon as heavensward pops...
final coil, Crystal tower & old primals wont even be bothersome to most.

Redundant content thats just left alone with no adjustment being made since most focus will be on the new expansion content.
I sure hope this isnt something that will happend.

And everyone that's saying "Dont nerf" coil because of this & that, what do these people really care once
the new expansion is out anyway, its not like most are willing to re-do the old content anyway.

But like you said, once the expansion is out, there wont be anythign to gain from coil runs but cutscenes
to complete the story since most coil & tower drops will be become beyond useless.

Raiding for cutscenes only....no thank you, if thats all we gonna be rewarded with,
just give me the "instant win button" please. so i can continue my expansion story.

Cuz im sick of waiting for static parties to rely on, waiting for people to show up for raid schedules etc.
It would have been nice with an ingame raid / content calendar for members to use,
instead we are left with our own website calendars etc that not many members even
bother to use or even know existed even when told multiple times.
