Dam I thought i was about to Crack Odowla's 643 parse everything was going great burst in my opener for 770 dps then 2-3mins in was at 655-660 till that 2nd invigorate where i proceeded to get 0 crits (rng pls....) it was at 639 but i had to quickly fumble to end the encounter http://i57.tinypic.com/s42pfr.jpg http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/QDXQ my gear set up no mercy stroke
Oh, I agree, but that's the only way I see it being perfectly manageable at that low on SS. It's somewhat similar if you only count PB as your opener instead of the rotation right after too which should be factored in as we both know.
And proof! Granted the 341 sks was a mix up on my part I did revert to the snap snap demo and paid no attention so disregard.
Test 1
Test 2
Granted I change it up after the Demo and obviously drop DK for DK itself. But that's muscle memory kicking in and I prefer the flank to back to flank to back combo much better (don't ask me why).
Well, when you're wrong...you're wrong. I've never been able to do that with any kind of consistency on a dummy let alone having to move even more with a boss doing it even with my pretty low latency. You must have some crazy low latency even by NA standards.
As I said EU player with 110ms ping. Not really checked ping properly but the last time I used WTFast it brought it down to 96 apparently. Not sure how reliable the numbers the app itself gives though. However as I said I can't abide any lower than 375 sks and prefer to run at 390+. I did however try a 694 sks set and had a bit of fun with it. Not viable in the least as you might expect but fun nonetheless.
With Selene I quite comfortably landed a 6gcd PB opener follow by the boot - boot - dk rotation you were talking about a little while ago in here. Obviously nothing fell and it was fun. The 6 gcd PB I used however was Snap - Snap - B4B - Demo - Twin - Pot - DK - Boot - IR - ToD - Howl - Boot.... so on and so on. Not the most potent and can probably do with some mathing out but the sacrifices far outweigh the gains. First and foremost being that you hit like a wet noodle. CHR is abysmal and Det is so lowThe funny thing is I can reach t13 flank cap but the tp loss is so substantial it's not worth it as was expected.
I feel like back > side > back> does more dps.. lol. not sure now.And proof! Granted the 341 sks was a mix up on my part I did revert to the snap snap demo and paid no attention so disregard.

Yeah, whenever I talked to you before about it I felt the same way, but I couldn't ever pin the increase to anything other than dumb luck on crits on the right moves. My parses were on the higher end more often doing that though. I just can't keep up with it and usually end up messing up.
It's more of an illusion I feel. In reality we're hitting the same abilities. However with the way I rotate my abilities I have a high potency ability or two per 3 gcd cluster (Bootshine - True Strike - Snap). Whereas you guys always have a 3 gcd section with DK-Twin (with one of two finishers possibly 3 if you account for rockbreaker :P) therefore creating an illusion that the flank is weaker dps, which in reality it is assuming no crits and assuming you always meet the requirement for bootshine.Yeah, whenever I talked to you before about it I felt the same way, but I couldn't ever pin the increase to anything other than dumb luck on crits on the right moves. Just my thoughts anyway. Hope it made sense haha. I'm generally fluid with both ways of performing the rotation and find it shifts quite a lot when you peel to attack an add.
