Something I noticed from the video is that there is an autoattack without the GL3 buff during that gap. Nothing I've theorycrafted accounts for that possibility.
It's the poison potion that Odowla is using. Using 2 Pots in your opener clips your GCD twice, risking you to lose the GL. Either make sure you're not lagging at all, get a little bit more skill speed ~10 or so, or take out the poison potion from your opener.
