There just isn't as many people making those DPS videos on MNK as there are on NIN or other jobs... But from pretty much every good player in the game, and I mean the hardcore ones that beat raids before everyone else... MNK is still ahead on DPS.

Both DRG and NIN probably brings as much or more DPS to the party with their damage boosters, but MNK gets the highest DPS on themselves, and they have the INT reduction to balance it out.

If there were as many MNKs making videos like that, you would see high parses like that on them too.

Also, while I'm no expert on either MNK or NIN in fact, could it have to do with Min/Max DPS? I mean, can NIN for some reason get a very high maximum DPS if lucky, and MNK be more stable?

EDIT: On the subject of Min/Max, you also have to factor in when in the rotation you end the parse... Same with every job. My main is BLM, and even if it has been 5 mins in a parse, I can still get spike DPS if I end the parse just as I have used buffs and pot, and maybe some luck with RNG. If I post that parse, I would be getting much more DPS than BLM should be able to.
