you know thats what i thought
the more time you play, the more time you have to run and save anima
the less time you have to play, the more anima should be regenerating in between each session anyway
are the laws of physics somehow completely wrong? lol

Boy, if only Lodestone had accomplishments for yalms traversed! Sheesh.

Since there's 24 hours in a day and I only work 8 hours per day I spend the remaining 8 hours walking to and from work so I can save gas. Makes sense, right? Almost as much sense as anima.
hard to compare, since you get paid to work, and you spend what you get paid to make the money for gas to trvael to and from work more
if we had a way to earn more, itd be comparable, but it isnt

You get paid to play FFXIV, too. Your reward is entertainment. Your logic is flawed. You are entitled to your opinion but the least you can do is just recognize how inconvenient the system is for people that actually want to play the game.
If you could teleport to your destinations, you still need to travel from aetheryte node to crystal and/or destination. If they altered, or even abolished anima, think of what you could do with all the time you saved. Here's just a short list:
- Farm materials for that next big item you need crafted
- Level your crafts to make that next big item
- Kill monsters for SP
- Join your LS for that raid you want to do
- Finish some of the quests for lore
- Take part in company content
- Help friends
etc...
In the future, there will be even more things you can do, unless of course I am forced to run halfway across the world to do every little thing I want to do.
If you want to travel instead of playing the game, then you don't have to use anima, nobody's forcing you to. Are you afraid you will be tempted by the convenience? Poor you. I know how nice conveniency can be though, so I don't think anyone will blame you.
traling is part of playing the game...
but my statement still stands, there is no reason to keep making everything easier and easier and easier
you essentialy get rid of the world, and all you have left are camps and dungeons and cities if you make everything free to teleport to instantly
yet thats ok, cuz it will benefit certain players who dont ever wanna see anything but the camps, dungeons and cities(hell im sure theyd even cut out some of those if they could speed along to just the dungeons faster doing it)

Not going to change? Is that why in almost every single patch they've reduced anima further and further? I'm so glad you guys are convinced of this simply because you love to run. None of you who disagree have answered my question as to whether you'd rather run to Ul'dah from Gridania or teleport. Why, I really don't know. >.>;

Actually i fall into the crowd who does not have a lot of time to play and i always have anima.....You keep saying running when we are getting airships and choco's......Not going to change? those dont count, they arent freebies
seriously
my suggestion still stands, no freebies, but instead a way to EARN more anima(guild marks, seriiusly, or a ton of gil)
of course im sure even with that people will then complain they dont have the time to earn it so it should still be free
