    Sounds okay. But maybe to make things just a bit more interesting, do away with the Aetherytes outside the city and use the city's aetherytes for low-rank leves.

    I think once chocobos and other modes of transport are added that anima should be lowered to an extremely low amount, to be used only in emergencies.

    Like say you are given 10 anima total, and are late for something or other; you could teleport to the required camp for 6 anima, leaving you with only 4 extra. With return being free, and having chocobos and airships for all other transport, why should you need more?

    Sure, riding a chocobo and airship may take you 5 minutes instead of instant, but this is an MMO..

    I personally wouldnt mind if they totally did away with anima and teleporting via aetheryte all together when chocobos come, and took example from FF11 and how teleporting was done in that.

    (I'm thinking the spells, and the pedestal things, not sure what they were called.)

    Nah why lessen it, leave it as is and stoip adding more "adjustments" to make it easier. Right now the system is fine as is, the only adjustment they coulda done to it without breaking it was done last patch(free returns).
    If people wanna run alot and let it actualy build up, let them have their teleports for a while with their 100 anima, and for those too lazy to run who can go from 100-0 in a day, let them be babies and whine about it, they shouldnt have been teleporting that much to begin with and should learn to walk!

    The system is fine as is. The only adjustment that I could possibly see a need for is a decrease in the time period between replenishing anima points. Making something free because someone somewhere (and probably not a majority of the players) may not have time to walk 3 to ten minutes (less time once Chocobo's and airships are installed) is not a great reason. Do you suggest giving everyone an auto-raise to full? I mean, if you are pressed for that much time, it's going to be a real bitch waiting 3 minutes + to unweaken or run back from the node.

    No matter what, there is always going to be something that leads to inconvenience, that's just the way it is.
