    Sapphic, like you said 2.45 was a clear signal for content sellers and sadly it's probably the major reason why our raiders community are not allowed to have more freedom with the raiding system and so... Limiting our possible ways to create bonds with other raiders ingame.

    So why are they not working on an anti-selling system/mechanic for raid contents?! If clear selling bother Yoshi-P so much, why did they not think about a logical solution like this one?

    Fun fact : Most raiders I know, actually does clear sells not because they need a lot of gils but mostly because of boredom or a "maybe it will be useful for next patch". Also, doing contents as 7 people while carrying someone is a part of the reward itself.
    Because when it's not raiding time for your static or/and if you cleared raid content the Tuesday, it took you less than 1h and half and that's it, GG! Weekly raiding is done the very first day of reset day xD.
    But meanwhile if we were not able to sell contents and had more freedom with raiding system, we would be kept busy the whole week doing raids activities with other friends.
    And this is coming from someone who did made a good amount of gils by doing hardcore clear-sells activities some months ago.

    I personally would trade clear-selling for a better and more social friendly raiding system at any time.

    Some people do..I help out an old raid team member and his new team with t12, they don't mind that if we clear it, they will only get one chest, cause then the next week they will have 7/8 cleared and will be able to do it with their missing team member.

    I also have an LS of old fc friends who regularly ask in there for subs, we were a big fc with 5 raid teams so the sub system is pretty useful for us.

    I'll admit the raider in me would like it to be easier to find people for this. But low drop rate no no no no no your insane if you think this is a good idea.

    The whole reason the one chest if some one has all ready cleared is because they want to discourage people from buying clears I blame these people for ruining what was supposed to be a good system that every one was looking for.

    To get back on this low chest drop no it was never fun having to clear something hard to not get a chance to lot on something because nothing dropped.

    I am so glad that none of you are in charge of making changes to this game after reading this thread.

    edit: I'd like to point out that content sell carries have existed for as long as I can remember in this genre, and I've been raiding since EQ Kunark (that would be almost 15 years for people unfamiliar with EQ). I would be very surprised if FFXIV becomes the first MMO to actively try and stop it.

    Which begs the question, this problem doesnt exist in other mmos that have exactly the same lockout system, so why on earth do FF14 players have such a massive issue with it, this isnt a community based game, there is no developer article for this, end game is for end gamer raiders, there are criteria to be met.

    At least , they must put this token systeme already seen on V1.0 , with increase jobs incoming , no token system will be a pain to get what we need for our main job

    I confirm that it was said that there will two difficult, try checking the Live Letters from the Fan Fest ( London I think, maybe LA ) I don't know about the relative difficulty of the two modes.
