Swift song cannot be used in battle...NOW that is a design flaw. Granted, it should nerf bard DPS if used in battle to not be overpowered. But this is not a flaw, and if you believe it is, you're trolling. If you really really want them to "not have it at all" as you said, you're gonna suffer through monotonous prebuff sections before the fight. Why anyone would want that is a mystery, I don't care if it saves ten seconds only...it makes things feel more fluid and less boring and that's the bottom line.
