Ppl can grind fates to 50 today... do you really want it easier than that?I think that this is the reason why with, WoW for example, they tended to speed up leveling whenever they brought out a new expansion. Pretty sure when they raised the level cap to 60 they reduced the xp needed to get to 50. This way returning players, as well as new players, could get to the newest content as quickly as possible.

It's not really about making it easier, but rather lessening the time it takes to do it.
And while people can do that today, it only becomes "fast" if there are a large amount of people doing it.
Consider the ninja release. People came out in droves to level their ninjas. Weeks later, at least on my server, those same areas that people were once crowding to level are pretty barren.
Likewise, there will be less people doing the low level dungeons, which will also make it harder for someone to level a class/job up. If less people are doing dungeons in that level range, the wait times go up.
This leaves people with a dilemma. If I want to level up x class/job and not enough people are doing fates to make the time invested worth it, and not enough people are queuing for dungeons in the level range that I am in, what do I do? I can do leves, but there are only so many of those. I can just grind on mobs, but that will take a significant amount of time. The longer it takes me to level up, the longer that I am not in the new content. The longer the I am behind for the new content.
