Abriael, I gotta suggest you just let it be and let Kensei tell himself whatever he wants. If he hasn't seen the error in his assertions by now - after over 80 pages - he's never going to.
At this point, he's playing semantics, crying "nerf!" over what most everyone else recognizes as balancing of sp across multiple activites instead of having most of it come from one or two. This is exactly what Yoshi said would happen, and the only people who seem to not realize this are Kensei and the few defenders he's had in this thread.
Anyone with a shred of common-sense and honesty can look at the situation, look at the numbers that you and several others have presented, compare them to pre-patch figures and see that, overall, sp gain has either increased, or at best remained mostly level.
I've seen it time and again... when people are discussing specific activities, it's described as the sp/hr has either increased, or decreased overall. I saw the same thing in my LS discussion last night. When you look at sp gain across the board (ie. ranking up) it's remained more or less balanced.
On balance, the rate at which sp can be gained has not changed all that much, unless you're someone like Kensei who insists on sticking to one or two activities.
Kensei is stuck on the Behest/Leve thing and ignoring all other options at this point because he *has* to. Being willfully ignorant and ignoring any evidence to the contrary is the only way in which he can continue claiming that he was somehow lied to. He's played his victim card and is clinging to it for all its worth.
It can't be explained to him any more clearly than it already has, with actual numbers and figures, by people who have far more hands-on experience in the game than he has. He's not listening. His mind and "ears" are shut to anything other than what he's committed to believing.
It's like listening to damn politicians and pundits on some cable news station. It goes something like this (as a made-up example)...
Pundit A: "Because the president wants to increase taxes by 10%, it will become more difficult for middle-class and lower families to survive.
Pundit B: That's nonsense because there is no such plan to increase taxes. What the president actually said is "provides direct quote that Pundit A is taking out of context". So, no, there is no plan to increase taxes, at all, much less by 10%"
Pundit A: In addition, the president raising taxes by 10% is going to result in schools having to cut things like music and sports because they won't have enough money. America's children will not be able to partake in or be educated in such activities."
Pundit B: Again, false claim based on a fallacious premise... There is no such plan to raise the taxes. Here is another source, directly from the president stating otherwise."
Pundit A: Even worse, because the president is raising taxes by 10%..."
And so on. Pundit A would clearly be Kensei in this case. No matter how much evidence is shown to him that undermines his entire claim, he just continues on repeating the same mantra over and over and over.
It's a lost cause trying to reason with someone who obviously doesn't want to be reasonable.
Best thing to do at this point, honestly, is let Kensei believe what he wants, because he's clearly going to anyway. Let the thread die and be buried already. It's already been given far more attention than it warrants.
