Oh, I'm sorry. What I meant with the "jumping off a bridge" comment was: just because a lot of other MMOs use a cash shop. that doesn't mean it's acceptable to do it too, you know?

No. But people asked for things like vanity and vials/namechanging to be sold like WoW does. Hell, there are a few threads within the first couple pages now with it.

Again. You want it, you buy it. Not everything comes for free. Just be glad things like XP increases and whatnot are not being sold yet.

So Square Enix works like a Monkey's Paw now? Giving you what you ask for in the worst way possible? No thanks.
When people ask for Sleipnir as a mount, people asked for a way to obtain it in game, the biggest example being via Odin's Mantles. With Urth's Fount becoming a trial (likely 2.5) that is the perfect way to deliver it, but no. We have to pay for it.
