People kicking new players for watching cs's.....just stupid.

Hate to break it to you folks, but forcing people to skip cutscenes via DF is reportable. I personally enjoy fast runs of CM/Prae, but if I join through DF, I take what I can get and make no demands. Why do I do this? Because DFs sole purpose is to give you the unfiltered/vanilla experience of whatever your trying to do.

Hence comes the PF, which allows players to run a dungeon in a certain way. They even have a text box that explains what you are trying to do. This is just a totally random example /wink: LFM Prae Speed run. Skip CS. i100+ only. Feel free to copy/paste that, it's on me. So that is why the PF is in the game, when is the last time you saw a Garuda HM light farm party require the vanilla group composition? People like Dhex here, they would join DF Garuda HM to grind out there nexus, then blame the extra healer and tank for being there. Hell maybe he'll kick them and hope the game alters its code to give him a 6 DPS group. :P

Hate to break it to you, but it's totally not a reportable offense. GMs have already weighed in and they said they will not get involved in disputes over playstyle difference kicking. You can be upset about it all you like, but don't lie to people.

Also, that vanilla experience logic is just nonsense. If that was the case then everyone should be synced down to fresh 50 stats, which doesn't happen.

Edit- Looks like others have seen GM take actions against this as well. How is that quote working out for you? I guess being rude and disrespectful to new players isn't something the GMs take kindly. Seems you have lost.

In all the runs I did of Prae/CM, I haven't seen a person watching CS kicked, especially now that there is a added myth bonus. Glad to see people like Vesper are the minority in such behavior.

That doesn't mean anything, just because someone stops playing doesn't mean they were banned. Sorry, but that's not proof of anything. It's also not a lie, considering it is SE's policy. Just because you don't like a fact doesn't make that fact a lie.

If you bothered to read the "example" you would see they were irrelevant to this conversation, as well as they were prolly made up, seeing how actions taken against other players by GMs are not shared. Seems like you jumped the gun on your decision to say that SE's policy "lost".

Guess what if people discussed and agreed to watching cutscenes, and people still abused the vote kick, that is something that is clearly actionable by the GM. Expect your suspension to be coming. SE and GMs havee plenty of wiggle room and they will do what they need.

Our former FC master was trolling CT, and got reported and the GM talked to him and issued him a warning. He quit trolling CT after that. If you think GM are just bots sending auto-reply mail, go test them, and don't be surprised if you get a permanent ban.

One the of things you can do when doing Prae the first time is announce that you are new and that you will watch the cutscenes, and hopefully more people will chime in and support that. And if the one jerk start verbally abusing you for that, you got the logs to report them to the GM. And if they stay silent and vote kick, then it is clear evidence of vote kick abuse for ignoring what is being discussed, an it will be in the logs to show the GM. The unfortunate problem is newbies and 1st-timers usually are not savvy enough to do these things, and they get abused.

And people that agree to loot rules and then violate it, that is also actionable by the GM. You don't get to renege on your agreements without consequence. And if you silent vote kick people during a discussion before it is agreed, that is clear harassment of other party members. That is also actionable.
