I'm not engaging in this cyclical argument that's been beat to death.
Use the Party Finder if you want content to be run a specific method. Get over it.
if it were THAT easy I'm sure they would have used it, But its not. Older content party finder is seriously not covered. You being from my server, you should know...
~Doesn't wish to engage in cyclical argument, decides to post in thread anyway baiting an argument~ Your actions and words aren't matching up.
Most cutscenes are lame/repetitive and they can always be watched at inn room. On my first runs of story dungeons I skipped most cutscenes simply because they all were same.
About why people don't wait for new players that watch cutscenes and leave them behind - why the hell should I wait for someone to watch cutscenes that take more than half an hour together?! "I am new player" doesn't mean I must waste my time waiting till you watch your movie - I just want to beat the dungeon and get my roulette reward.
The only wrong thing in this is actually kicking people that watch cutscenes because all 8 man story dungeons can be cleared with 4 if not less people now.
The only cutscenes which can be viewed are the ones at the beginning and at the end of the dungeon. For places like Praetorium or Castrum Meridianum where there are cutscenes DURING the actual dungeon, those cutscenes can only be viewed from inside the dungeon itself.
So no, not all can be watched in the Inn.
There isn't a single in-dungeon cutscene in Castrum or Praetorium that can't be viewed in the inn. They're located in the Duties category and not Main Scenario. The only difference between watching them in the dungeon or in the inn is who shows up in the cutscene with you. Some scenes will show your party members behind you (who don't do anything anyway, so big whoop) if you're grouped. The only cutscenes which can be viewed are the ones at the beginning and at the end of the dungeon. With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
Oh really...? Then how come the Castrum has only 1 cutscene listed which is merely the intro? It misses several cutscenes, including the destruction of the shield and several with Cid. And then there's the Praetorium, which has the intro CS... and three cutscenes which follow AFTER the events of the mission. There isn't a single in-dungeon cutscene in Castrum or Praetorium that can't be viewed in the inn. You don't even get to see the awesome Ultima cutscene in the Inn for crying out loud! So, tell me again how there isn't a single in-dungeon cutscene which can't be viewed. It humours me.
There's 2 different categories, split between scenario and dungeon (duties). They are all in there. Try looking with your eyes before posting.Oh really...? Stop complaining about this already. SE gives free mythologies to those who carry new players through these kind of dungeons, so if they kik you this reward is gone. If you want to see cutscenes and you are kiked, I'm sorry buddy, bad luck, you were matched with a bunch of douches, if you are not kiked but left behind, it's completely understandable, praetorium cutscenes take about 20 minutes you can't really expect 7 random people to sit and wait so that you can enjoy your cutscenes, you talk about respect but that's BEYOND DISRESPECTFUL to my eyes. This is a social game, this isn't a game where you and your cutscenes fall into first place and the rest of stuff have less priority, if you don't understand something basic like this at this point, might as well look for an offline game and enjoy all the cutscenes you want.
How Is it understandable to be left behind? It's not, new players don't get to experience the fights and the storyline because of impatient jerks. When you were a fresh 50 Im sure you wanted to watch your cutscenes, and probably got too as well.Stop complaining about this already. Fact is, the jerks wouldn't even be doing this if it wasn't for the new player bonus, so in turn these new players should at least be given the common courtesy to experience the dungeon in its fullest, that means cutscenes and boss fights... period.
