Only to inform you Tanaka have leave the head of XIV on December 2010 after the Bad release of the game on September 2010 and on December 2010 Yoshi was make the new producer with Tanaka going back to FFXI. So yep Tanaka have prolly designed some stuff coming after yoshi come in , but not all till the end.

XIV1.x contents: af quests,moogle keystone grinding,hamlet defense,8man dungeons,skirmish,faction leves,NMs
were not designed by Yoshi,except the meteor event

they were the original plan of 1.0,
1.0 failed it was because it released too early

and Yoshi decided to water them down,then you got the lackluster,badly implemented af quests /guild leves/4man dungeons/hunts in 2.0
