I feel there is nothing wrong with the whole Atma grinding. It goes by really quickly tbh. Just most ppl make it feel like it takes to long.

As for The Hunt and PS3/4 players... Not much I can say about that besides this is an MMO and for as long as I played MMOs (yes, I know FFXI is on PS as well) I feel MMOs should stick to PCs and PCs only. I see it as their fault and we (PC) should not be punished for it. The game already has limits due to it being on the PS3/4.

Don't tell people how fast atma goes by just because itwwasn't a nightmare for you... Seriously I'm so tired of people with good luck telling everyone else how it is... You obviously have no clue, now go sit down.

As for hunts... Since when has it been an issue for PS4? I'm genuinely curious because I've never once had anything disappear in any hunt or Odin on mine.

Takes about 1-2 weeks of farming fates. least 18-36 hours. Iv done them twice and yes its hell on earth. Each trial of the relic isnt even remotely fun. Basically is spam this content 500 times. I miss 1.0 relic quest. There needs to a brick wall preventing players doing this content again and that savage coil trials for Relic Weapon upgrade. I played with alot of unskilled Nova's players this week and there need to be a trial where you need skill. Heres a good challenge.

More then 70% of players would get stuck here cus they dont know how to do the content/get a team for it/know how to play the game.

Sounds to me you have bad luck. Good for you cup cake. <3 Just keep putting a little more work into it and you will get it someday. I just know it!

As for the disappearing mobs in hunts or Odin. No clue, doesn't happen to me. But seems to happen a lot to the PS players over PC players (unless they have crap computers).


NOTE: You want to know why it didn't take long for me to get my 12 Atma? Because I did not give up. I have seen ppl in chat come and go complaining they never get it and they were only there for less then an hour or so. It's their own fault for not sticking to it and giving up.


Also did you even read every post before you posted?

Personally the Atma and especially the Books are nothing when it comes to grinding. If you think these are hard, you should check out a French made game called Wakfu. Currently 160 levels, at a point (normally between Lv125-130) it would take a full day or two to just get a single level in. Above that if you want a new gear you have to deal with drop rates of 0.1%, 0.3%, 1%, 3% for over 95% of every gear in the game. (Which makes Atma's 5% a joke.)

Idk, I know ppl have some bad luck and that really truly sucks for them, but they will at some point make it even easier for everyone to get Atmas.

On the side note: Awhile back I looked up some info on Atmas drop rates and the likes. Many players have reported that going solo (Chocobo is ok) always seemed to make the Atmas drop faster. I personally only ran solo with Chocobo. So if you want to test your luck run solo. Don't group with others. It worked for me, maybe it will work for others as well. Wish anyone that still needs them the best of luck and I hope this info would be of some help!

This is also another reason why I stated it was fast and easy. Play this game and see if you make it past Lv75.
