Quesse, you act as if they never posted about the very obvious lack of wards immediately after patch 2.38. They even apologize preemptively before the deluge of complaints they knew they were going to get as well. You can keep thinking that people complaining would have fixed the situation, but it is not so.

If everyone could have a room, without needing a Free Company that has a house already, I think a lot of the heat would die down. Only remaining issue would be Gardening in such rooms, but I believe that's something they're already working on, so whatever.

I have absolutely no problem with the housing wards being a "Look how much Gil I had" d*ck waving zone, provided they give everyone an alternative. Alternatives is really what's causing a lot of issues with content lately... No housing alternative. No Allied Seals alternative. They started off giving us things like tomestones for literally everything, and now they're doing the opposite with new content... Kinda odd...

No, what is driving them towards RMT is themselves and their laziness. Blaming the devs for players deciding to buy Gil, is like blaming the merchants for banks being robbed.

First of all, human beings are fundamentally lazy. Arguing against human nature doesn't change it. We all seek the path of least resistance, as well we should. Second, even if I agreed with the notion that housing in an MMO should be an achievement (Which I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT), then if you want to combat RMT, you don't gate that content behind gil, the one thing that RMTs supply. It simply does not make sense.

Hey I like a game where I can leave for months or years and be able to come back and catch up. Let's hope this game does not fall into oblivion. But perhaps they don't really care. They only need a solid 100k subscribers to make decent profitable return, I mean look at FFXI, 11 years and going strong!!

Alright, I had another talk to Yoshida today at TGS. Unfortunately he was a lot more busier than yesterday so we weren't able to talk much, if at all.

In regards to non-housing gardens and stables. No comment. Sorry, but I don't have a clear answer on this one. Didn't have enough time to talk about personal inns.

Though I did suggest rental stables and gardens using gil to rent a stable/garden for a certain period of time.
