I'm interested to know how well you're playing on that smn ( if you are not a sch ofc ). Smns have one of the largest differences of dps between moderate play and great play. maximising dps on that class, especially on occasions where more than 1 target are involved, seem pretty complex to me. All the buffs, dots, gcds/non-gcds, choosing how to use aetherflow...it's a lot to manage.

I really hope you aren't using tera as an example of an mmo having a class being able to over play? Tera endgame was pretty simple. Learn Queen hm animations and you're done. Also, having I-frames makes a game easier, not harder. Believe me, theres a lot harder and far more complex fights in FF. The game is ALOT harder.

Sure, gear is handed to people, but no1 gives a crap about gear in FF, it's all about what you can do, not what you have. Which seems hardcore enough to me.

And just so y'know, dungeons and crystal/syrcus tower are casual content. the harder stuff starts at T5 of coil and with some of the extreme primals.

I think you are just used to games like tera where one class can be so overplayed that it can solo endgame content. If this is what you mean, then you are playing the wrong game.
