So you look sometimes for a quick kill of a fight you know in and out and then it is OK for you if it takes 3 days because each time, there are 1-2 players in your group that do not care about the Group Search requirement? And you care about them all? And help them till they get it right? Ridiculous do-gooder statement. Please let it be my decision whether I have time to help people or I just want to beat something without playing the Devil's Advocate.

Its not about "oh let's not deal with the noobs!!!" Why do people keep saying that. If you're making a party to farm Levi ex or t5 and someone who hasn't cleared joins pretending he has he just destroyed your entire plan. The sole reason you made the pt in the first place was to farm. You can't sit there and train people. What if you only had an hour or two to play. Have you ever tried to teach Levi or coil to someone from scratch? It takes time and practice. What's so difficult about making your own "learning pt" in the pf? That's how I learned everything ......

Thanks, somebody understands where I come from. There is a time for training, there is a time for help, there is a time for killing 1st time and there is a time for farming. How people with specific desires they voice through Group Finder are the evil elitists while players who give a crap about what others set as requirements are the good guys that need to be protected is beyond me.

I'm on the fence with this suggestion.

Plus side: Slightly lowers the chance that someone will waste a groups time in wiping on a fight.

Down Side: Turns every boss fight into a significant barrier that people without a kill are only stuck with other lesser experienced players. This basically recreates the Titan HM barrier from 2.0 where players never touched the fight once they had the kill and the remaining players became an avalanche of death and despair.

I'd say that it's fine as is and if the players joining are really that bad, then it's easy to identify and grab a new replacement 30 minutes later. The dynamics for a kill group are far more complicated then simply having to remove those without a kill.

If someone asks if you have done something when you haven't ... It's not the truth XD. Though I think if someone is capable and prepared I am more for the side that mislead than the side being "clear onry". I had a friend sneak in before, the group noticed the message and said they'd give it three deaths (generous) he however had watched and memorized the videos- they farmed leviathan for hours. He even made a first clear PF that went no where lol, they didn't use DF because they don't like the fact there is no accountability.

In what you quoted you can see that I know it already exists. So.. Yeah..? Second sentence in particular addresses this. "I know people do it, I like that it causes the person having prejudice stress, that means they are serious to be as such".

The guy will get kicked anyway after wiping the group... at least this way it saves everyone the repair costs and time.

Not sure how you get to that. Those 7 players have put in time learning it. It's the one joining and hasn't that think his time is worth more, since he can't be bothered with spending time in learning mode.

Honestly, I think it's pretty rude to just up and join a farm/clear party without any previous knowledge of the fight. It's basically begging for a carry. These aren't people that put up a learning party in the party finder - they made their party with the intent to run multiple times quickly. On the other hand, I've had extremely good luck with people in PF that will join and say "I haven't cleared, but I have been to 5%" or something to that effect. This is someone that knows the fight but hasn't quite managed to put the nail into the coffin yet, and that's fine with me. They've warned us in advance that we'll see the 100 myth message, but basically assured us they are good on the mechanics. If we go in and they clearly are lying (i.e. they're dying to easy mechs that they should know), we back out and kick.

I actually like OP's suggestion. I don't think it will promote elitism at all. If anything, it will give more incentive for new players to actually create learning parties. In doing so, they can group up with like-minded individuals without getting raged at by players who have already cleared the specific instance.

Like others said, it is pretty inconsiderate to join a previous-win/experience required party blindly. I've been in enough T9 clear parties where the odd dude that said he's been to final phase really hadn't been there yet - wasting everyone's time. Not only will it make you look bad, but you'll most likely end up blacklisted by the party members lol.

There is a reason why people create clear/win/farm parties. I'm really lenient when it comes to DF and the easy dungeons. For end-game raid instances, however, I have to agree with those who support OP's idea.
