You do realize how much extra work that is to make 2 separate and distinct jobs instead of one base class & the job specialization, right?

What could use some work is making the classes more all-purpose and the jobs more specialized for their role. They've sort of botched this on a number of jobs by adding job skills that aren't focused on their specialty, like DPS abilities on tank/heal jobs, utility abilities on DPS jobs or just very niche DPS abilities on DPS classes that are somewhat limited in use. Those type of unfocused abilities *should* have been part of the base class, while the job stone focused purely on abilities to strengthen the role.

It also sucks that the Novus line is job only, more encouragement to never take the job stone off.
