    I guess the question I have to ask is how did adding Hunts fix this issue for you? I mean yea you can get i110 gear now but can you actually complete that content you mentioned now?

    It's the issue with vertical progression. Only way to progress is increase the magical ilvl. It's why a lot of people are asking for SE to go more horizontal progression and introduce better stat customization to make our jobs better rather than just doing a base stat increase every update. Heck they can begin by letting people meld their dungeon/trial/raid gear.

    However due to the simplicity of the stat system as well as our jobs, I don't see any major changes happening until maybe the expansion.

    No, you're right? This was just the final nail in the coffin. For me, anyway. I'm sorry I didn't go into entire detail on every little thing. The game was easy enough as is, but now people don't even have to step into roulettes to be carried to get their gear. They can get it just by running around on the map and hitting an enemy over and over.

    I never liked Atma farming and that was killing the game for me in a lot of ways. One day I went into ST and got a UAT. I then decided I'd postpone buying any Weathered gear for the sake of getting The Liberator. I bought up Tokens for weeks and fought Hunts whenever I could to get seals. Eventually I had enough to get 2 BMLogs and I was lucky enough for one to drop for me fighting an SRank. Ever since I have not felt like a burden on my team because I've been stuck with Zenith and that helps me focus more on Mechanics.

    Your right, I hate these lame dungeons. Oh, and please tell me what dungeon I need to be 110 on? The highest dungeon is i70... You know the gear that was available at launch...

    As for the gear, you know there are Trials, raids, and new dungeons when released. Most players already beat all the current dungeons, several times over. Until the dungeons have same ilevel as coil/seal bought, they will continue to be pointless other then farming seals.

    Initially I thought hunts were cool and all to help obtain oils and sands for your weathered gear...

    However, I can honestly say that hunts have pretty much killed any form of challenge this game offers. I haven't seen PF so open for parties looking for people to do SCOB or Ramuh Extreme where people simply do not want to join because they just want to hunt all day long 24/7. There really is no incentive to even do raids now lol.

    The saddest part is that many of these players are still bad despite having all their weathered gear at i110 -_- For example, I finished running a Hullbreaker Isle dungeon earlier where the tank with most unweathered i110 gear couldn't even maintain aggro across the mobs LOL.

    SE should really just remove the SCOB lockouts at this point.

    Hunts are fine, its the other content that is the problem, Like.... Why isnt turn 6+ on the DF? Why is ST gear i100 with no upgrade? We had i100 in 2.2
    ST should have been released before coil2
    imo, Hunts are where they are ment to be, by 2.4 you should be i109/110, same with 2.2 (i100) 2.1 (i90) So my guess in 2.4 we will be working for i120.

    Sounds like your server is dead, bro.

    A lot of SCOB PF here on ragna. Not too many for Ramuh, but we do get PF for it (just farmed it again today), but it has to be expected for dated content.

    My server's not dead.

    There are a lot of SCOB or Ramuh EX parties in PF, but no one really wants to join them since they're all too busy doing hunts lol.
