Will Shiva be an Evil Primal?

The lead up to 2.4 and the introduction to Shiva have me curious. Do you guys think Shiva will be evil in the sense of Garuda/ Ifrit/Leviathan, or docile until provoked like Titan / Ramuh?

Ramuh and Titan were summoned to just protect their respective beastmen, while GIL were on crazy tempering/killing sprees.

Personally I think Shiva has Ishgards King tempered to accomplish whatever her goal is.

    Thoughts?

Levithan was also summoned to simply protect his people, as the Admiral admits in a cut scene that the whole situation started because of a fight over terrirtory. :3

Isn't the Ishgard High Priest (I don't think he is a King but might be wrong) being controlled by the Ascians?

why does limsa have such terrible relations with its beastmen? They crapped on their treaty with the Kobolds then cried to Minfia when Titan curb stomped them.

I think she's a little too determined to do what she feels she has to in order to protect her people.

Primals aren't evil. They're forces of nature.

Ifrit - aspect of fire. Fire is violent and unpredictable. It cares not for friend or foe, it simply burns.
Titan - aspect of earth. If you'll notice, Titan was protecting his people from those who broke the terms of an agreement made. The evil ones here were the Limsans.
Garuda - aspect of wind. Garuda is no more evil than a tornado or a hurricane.
Leviathan - aspect of water. Again, he is protecting his people from the Limsans, who happily slaughter the Sahagin in droves so that they can expand their territory.
Ramuh - aspect of lightning. Nowhere near evil. His fight with you isn't even out of anger, but a test to see if you're worthy.
Shiva - aspect of ice. We don't know what she's going to be about, yet.

Now, the strangest part of Shiva. Who summoned her? The Heretics? I find that hard to believe, as they have their Dragons to turn to. I know the story seems to hint at that, but I'm still not sure.

Ultimately, if you read between the lines, none of the Primals or Beastmen are the bad guys. All of the playable, "civilized" races (besides maybe the Elezen) in the game are foreign invaders to Eorzea. The primals are simply Eorzea trying to protect itself from the cancerous spread of "civilization." We are the evil that the Primals are trying to stop.

I think he was referred to as the "Pope" in 1.0...not sure though...

EDIT: Mkay, the FF wiki calls him the "Archbishop".

They said Shivas beast tribe is unknown. What if they are endangered/ very few in number, which is why there aren't that much mentions of them and are nowhere near as threatening as the other beast tribe.

They clearly reside beyond the ice wall.

Will she be evil? Probably. Unlike Ramuh or Titan she is specifically tempering people, may be responsible for the perpetual winter in coerthas, etc.

Which is one of the reasons she is my favorite character in the game. There is a bit more depth to her actions and motivations then the others.

As to Shiva, we will have to wait and see. The fact that she seems to be walking around in a 'human' form seems to hint at a little more independence then the others. It will be very interesting to see who has summoned her, and what her motivations are. Perhaps it is to fight the Ascians controlling the controlled High Preist?

    2.4 cannot come soon enough!

Honestly, I think Iceheart will become Shiva much like the avatars of XI became... well, avatars (each one has a story, Ramuh's tying rather closely to Aht Urhgan's). My guess is that the Ascians taught the leader of an abandon settlement, Iceheart, how to become powerful enough to exact revenge through aetheric infusions. Not unlike the sahuagin cleric. This inevitably culminates in Iceheart becoming Shiva. I say she becomes Shiva and not summons Shiva because Iceheart's followers are said to be fantastically loyal to her. Perhaps to the point of worship? The only thing separating a saint from a god is the manner of worship involved and the Good King Moggle Mog storyline surmises that a primal can be created through faith alone, though you still need aether to maintain it.

Though, I also think everyone possessed of the Echo are also would-be primals, or at the very least no different from Ascians. Would go a long way to explaining how death for us is transitory but for normal adventurers is very permanent (poor Avere...).
