    Don't know if I've posted this yet, but wouldn't it indicate there are problems with the rest of the content if everyone is zerging the hunts? I think people feel less stressed out doing the hunts than they do trying to get groups for the boss fights, and it is understandable considering the less than friendly end game culture. I left after beating Twintania back in 2.1 and I'm not particularly looking forward to my first few days in 2nd Coil due to the potential of getting some loose cannons on board. It certainly feels less strenuous.

    If they want to make end game raids more appealing, they should design them so that they can accommodate various group sizes. The reason end game is so tense is that there is never a situation where the number of raiders are perfectly divisible by eight. People get left out, so there is competition where there really shouldn't be. Have an extra tank? Scale up monster damage. Have extra dps? Scale up the hit points on monsters. Have an extra healer? Again, scale damage up a bit. Would boss fights be perfectly balanced little gems? Certainly not, but I think the payout of being able to bring all your capable friends along and not having to watch them slog their way through a hell of pickup groups would be more than worth it.
