Thing is I really don't use the initial rotation posted on this forum because there is better in term of potency / burst damage, I can break 600+ dps easily with a xpot.

But is an opening burst of 600+ DPS really considered to be kind of exceptional? Even in iLvl 100 gear with an iLvl 95 spear I often break 500 on my opening burst (can't pull that off reliably, but it does happen) without using X-Pot whatsoever, so I can't imagine that bursting for 600+ DPS is all that hard in almost BiS gear with iLvl 110 weapon or even HA spear especially considering the usage of an X-Pot to reach those numbers.

It is quite hard to "reach" 600+ (lets say, at least 630+) just because, as you said you absolutely can't control if its gonna happen or not : it purely rely on the number of crits you ll do. Ofc its entirely doable to almost reach 700 in a really exceptionnal circumstance, aka, you do crits on everything from like Chaos Thrust to full thrust and that also include jump / ssd / dfd.

So breaking 600+ reliably without havin a lot of crits is good, yeah.

Dont forget that the BiS at 472 acc only have 330 det. By tweakin a bit and reachin 370 / 80 det you ll do way more
