But then I'm having internal release stack with full thrust too which is already gonna be a crit, so isn't the possibility of ID critting better than having BFB up for it? Or are they just minor differences?My rotation for the most part a identical to this:
HT->IR->ID->BFB->Dis->X-pot->CT->Sweep->PS->Phleb->Jump->TT->(if burst DFD or SSD)->VT->LS->FT (if burst use opposite of what I used earlier DFD/SSD)
When I finish the cycle and get back to this phase, Life Surge is up again so I typically use it on Full Thrust again, which looks like this:
...VT->LS->FT->HT->TT->BFB->VT->FT->Phleb.
For ur opening I have the exact same thing but I use B4B first and not IR since its only last less. I use all my jump under that burst rotation, when I get to DfD IR just wore off but all buff still up including xpot and to me DFD yields more dps under xpot compare to IR.
Profiled...
There's not much reason for DRG to do either of those mechanics, BRD can survive very easily (I assume the survivability is why they forced you to do them) and lose virtually no DPS while doing both mechanics. If there's a survivability issue for your BRD doing those mechanics, it's an issue outside of the fact it's BRD doing them and may lie in your tower order or healers.
I recommend asking your group to switch now before you've got it on farm, when people may be more reluctant to change a successful strategy around.

PS->HT-->BFB->ID-->IR->Dis-->X-pot->CT-->Jump->PB-->SSD->TT-->Sweep->VT-->LS->FT-->DFD->HT-->Potent Poisoning Potion
- You can Power Surge as you are running in right before you hit with HT
- Power Surge will finish nearly just after Chaos Thrust ends (tight timing)
- BFB will last till 2nd HT hits
- IR will last till VT ends so there's no stacking of IR and LS
@Butcherboy I wouldn't put 2 OGCD together CT->Sweep->PS->Phleb->

Want the spear/scythe.
Eh, I fell neutral about it.
holy shit does that looks awesome.
I take it that's the ramuh weapon, thunderbolt? what about the armour, in particular the chest piece? never seen that before, but want it almost as much as i want dat spear.
EDIT: never mind, all i had to do was use my brain and the site lol

I personally handle homing/brainjack as a DRG and have 99%+ uptime usually. I can hit all positionals (yes even during Brainjack without turning boss) and usually pull about 390dps with i103 w/ Liberator and dat skillspeed. This includes being TP starved for a bit towards end (avg 30-seconds). This is also with a 10 minute kill time so it would be a bit higher if the rest of group could reliably break 330 dps, but they don't besides the monk.There's not much reason for DRG to do either of those mechanics, BRD can survive very easily (I assume the survivability is why they forced you to do them) and lose virtually no DPS while doing both mechanics.

Yes the BRD can do the job with 100% uptime, but he can also do every other role with 100% uptime too.
It's kind of disappointing to see the stat allocation for the Thunderbolt :/
The CT2 gear looks pretty nice though, loaded with DET in almost every piece, but at the expense of ACC.
