Most people just look at t8 parses where blm/smn can greatly pad their numbers with double flare/contagion when the dreads are up, purely single target i.e over a 5 min period on training dummy I would think we are much higher in list.

what are everyone's thoughts on the ST drg gear? specifically the chest and legs pieces, which combined give 54 det and 52 acc.

I understand that it is generally accepted that higher ilevel gear is better, but the difference in strength between ilvl100 and ilvl110 chest/leg pieces is 5 str - if we take 1 det = 0.32 str, then the combined ST chest/legs 54 det would equate to 17 strength. Which in my mind should more than compensate for the loss of 10 str you would get from unweathered astrum mail and HA legs. If I have this wrong then please correct me.

I'm personally aiming to get that ST chest at least (mainly for the accuracy). The pants are nice, but replacing both Wyrms Mail and Astrum pants is a huge Crit loss I'm not able to swallow yet (-62 crit/-26 sksp for +52 acc/+30 det). For me, I have my set built around the accuracy from Animus (I actually only need like 27 acc for 493 set), so the pants would only help if I got the Liberator.

Please for the love of god can any l33t teorycrafter respond to this? it's the same thing i'm thinking since the release of ST.
Since 1 DET is 0.32 STR, there's some gear that may be better in terms of stats weight then the 110 stuff (or close at least)

I can reach the ACC cap (512) wearing some ST stuff instead of Astrum and can compensate every stats loss ( Crit etc) with some HQ Food

You already have the answer.. 54 * .32 = ~17 str

Some would say there is no accuracy.. I've personally recorded frontal misses in EX primals and HM/EX Dungeons at 353 accuracy (none from flank or rear, though). Some people I've asked seem to think the frontal accuracy for these dungeons and primals is actually around 415. (this doesn't matter too much really, except for AoE which sometimes counts as frontal which means it can miss.. Notable misses from EX primals is mainly Titan's Gaols which face the party)

IIRC T5 flank accuracy is 460-470 (same for LEX and MEX). T6 & T7 is 476ish, T8 & T9 is 493ish.. ** Not sure if REX is same as t5 accuracy, but likely **

I just got Dragoon status yesterday so have very limited abilities, what sort of rotations would any of you suggest in the level 30-45 or 40 range?

Lv30:
HT-ID/Phleb-TTT repeat (ID or Phleb every other time, Phleb is 18 sec duration)

Lv38:
HT-ID-Dis-Pleb-HT-TTT repeat (Disembowel 20 sec duration, Phleb is 18, and Heavy Thrust only 12)

Lv40:
HT-ID-Dis-Phleb-TTT repeat (finally Heavy Thrust gets to 20 sec duration, less clipping)

Something like that anyways.. It won't change from that until you get Chaos Thrust/Exenterate at lv50

I don't know about that.. The melded pieces can be pretty sweet. (I'm looking at Hak Matic >.>). But overall, it's more or less a puzzle, trying to fit the right pieces in with what you have to give you the best output. Like I've stuck with the Wyrm's Mail because I've got accuracy on Animus.. If I had Liberator I would have to replace that accuracy somewhere.

Same thing is happening to me with Novus. I went full DET/CRIT and now those ST pieces filled by ACC/DET looks nice
