1) "I could care less (than I currently do)" - Implies one cares more than not caring at all.
2) "I couldn't care less (than I currently do)" - Implies one doesn't care at all.
Now about this silly thread/topic. I think I'll show myself to the exit

ITT: People calling those who need echo stupid and bad when they can't even right click a buff icon and equip some lower level gear.
...ok

I feel like some people are forgetting that the Echo is implemented to help people catch up and get access to more content...and honestly, speaking from experience, TEX is still something I can't beat, even with Echo, for multiple reasons (other than me not being that amazing of a player). I don't have the fastest reaction speed and due to some mental stuff I get distracted a lot easier than I should (as in, I lose focus the moment someone talks to me on Vent and plumes eat me). There's also the fact I'm from Europe, which means latency can get pretty bad at points, for me at least.
My point is, the Echo is not some magical buff to help people insta-win things. It's supposed to make things slightly easier sure, but it's not a free win card like some people like to claim it is and while I think 20% on the first Coil is a bit of an overkill, I understand SE's reasoning behind it.
Just quoting you in the hopes that you re-read what you posted and learn from it.(Here, I'll help.)
"Your kind" was attacking, we were defending ourselves.(Not a smart move, sure, but we're human and we won't sit there and take it.)
Nobody likes being called stupid and bad, and being told they'll never get better.

The only legitimate complaint is that Turns 1, and 2 of The Binding Coil of Bahamut is physically easier than inception. You couldn't cleanse high voltage (so if you didn't have 2 silences, you pretty much lost). You had to feed slimes to Caduceus. DPS checks were pretty strict and you had lesser gear.
Echo helps the gear portion.
Nothing can fix the mechanic portion because it has been edited out of the fights.

ITT; people who actually need Echo
Echo does not help in many fights. It isn't the stuff that echo boosts that stop some players on content, it's the mechanics. That extra stat boost will not help players who cannot handle one shot mechanics.
Echo is nothing more than going into said content wearing a higher tier of gear.
Not dodging landslides, eating 5 stacked plumes, eating divebombs and getting knocked into the edge of the fire, not moving when twisters are cast, not running to the opposite side of the ship when LEvi slams with no barriers to stop you taking a swim. Killing the moogles too early. Echo will not save you from them just a few examples.
