All Thieves steal, mug and do tricks in every FF. How is that asking to make it like FFXI. I said sneak and trick-like. Not "trick attack" or "sneak attack".

You realize that Steal and Mug are two different abilities, right?
Secret Hunt is not actually Treasure Hunting, it's Poaching. The closest thing to Treasure Hunting in FFT was Move Find Item from Chemist. And did you seriously just bring up Gilgame Heart? The counter attack that gives you more nearly-useless gil?

Different Name over Titles; Same Result: Stealing Item's from the Enemy.
I never said Gilgame Heart is an great Ability.. xD Still is a way of getting Gil from the Enemy, which is a typicial THF Ability, which you denied would exist in Tactics. They do exist there, does not matter if they are great or not.

In my quote your replied to I said nothing about Treasure Hunting. You are reading things that aren't even there just to find a reason to argue and tell someone their wrong. You realize that Steal and Mug are two different abilities, right?

I don't see anywhere that said treasure hunting. You are just trying to make it seem like I want to make this game into FFXI. The actual truth is that I mentioned treasure hunter in a different quote but in that quote I said nothing about all thieves having treasure hunter. I said people want to have a Thief with treasure hunter in this game. Get your facts straight.Originally Posted by LoLo;

Huh? No. Mug deals damage in addition to stealing the item. That's a big difference.
Okay, I'll grant that you didn't mention that thieves in all games having Treasure Hunt. You're still wrong about Mug, despite Nero's attempts to redefine Mug.

Mug is stealing gil and you can steal gil in tactics but the attack is just named differently than Mug. Your point is invalid but you just want to argue even when you are wrong.
Oh I'm wrong?
http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Mug
Oh you mean you are wrong. Ok than if that is the case yes you are because Mug doesn't do damage and steals gil in the MMO version leaving you wrong.Job Ability
Steal gil from enemy.
Obtained: Thief Level 35
Recast Time: 15:00
Duration: Instant

You are trying to get away from your argument..Tactics had said Abilities, which you denied.
But since you obviously like get away from initial statements:
Mug: FF5 Attack and steal, FF9 Attack and steal, FF10 Attack and steal, FF11 Gil Steal... to name a couple and it does what i said; Stealing Items. Does it additional Damage? Yeah, still stealing Items tho, which is typical for THF's and no other Class.
Poaching was pretty much as "Treasure hunter" as it got, asides from move/find item from chemist.
The point is that Thief did steal, and do tricks (Catch item) Hell the dashing Rogues could even steal experience and even your heart!
