you infuse a Savage Might III Materia which has a +4 on DET and it ends up as a +1 DET on the Scroll!?
So you really have to infuse 75 Piece of Materia and use the Grade II / III / IV just when you are able and have a better chance of infusion, and not because of the better Points?
I guessed a - for example SM III gives you +4 DET so it counts +4 on this 0/75 counter?
So in other words, you really sink 75 + Fails (supposed about 100) Alexandrite and Tons of Gil (Materia Buying) or Time (Crafing + Binding)

So far Grades 1 through 3 have only given +1 Det. I can't speak to the other attributes. You don't use higher grade for higher chance, you HAVE to use higher grade. Once you get to a certain point the lower grades can't be used for that attribute anymore. As for employment yes I'm employed, but I have 26 days of vacation that I had to use or I lose them 30SEP14. So I took two weeks vacation for Wildstar and this patch. Granted I've not only been doing novus =) I've gone to movies, zip lining, and other activities. Give me a good group though and I can do BFHMSRs in 5 min with 550ish myth an hour.Wait wait...

Okay, that´s really not what I wanted to hear... well, at least I know why I saved so much gil ^^
I was guessing that the more Grade I you do, the lower the Chance until you HAVE to use higher grades, instead of completely lock the slot when enough is fused in... but well okay, results the same...

No you can only use one Grade of Materia ata a time. Dependent upon the number of infuses on that stat.Okay, that´s really not what I wanted to hear... well, at least I know why I saved so much gil ^^

My guess would be that every Skill/Grade-Slot has it´s own progress in Chances and number of Materias until cap.
