    Grinding normally is no good. But who's to say this wont be changed?. We dont even know what will be introduced to replace the leves.
    What I am saying is it is NOT solo oriented like the producer is making out to be.

    And yes I do think the producer could miss the obvious, hes done it in every patch. Example: Behast.

    I've taken a break from levelling, SE dont need to ruin the game to force everyone a break, just leave it how it is.

    Now there is no way to level. And sure enough maybe he will make mobs worthwhile, but we've had no information about the 10level cap on SP and we've had no information on weather mobs will become vital. We do however have information about leves so I am only talking about that, i dont talk about things on which I dont know off. Hence why I continue to say "Maybe" the SP reward at the end will be good, but it will have to be significantly high.

    Think we'll just have to wait and see, because i dont want to get in a silly argument, when its released i know what I used to get as a Duo, and will see the same again. And I hope the reward for some leves have increased in order to favor them over others since failing is being forced out.

    If all leves gave a set amount, and were all equally fair, I'd be over the moon.

    I do need to take Premium's side on this. The current mob placement/respawn respawn rates are very awful so the only real way to get SP is from guildleves, so unless they adjust that in 1.18 leveling is going to really suck.

    I parsed some questions from throughout the thread and brought them up to the team. Without further ado...

    What is the role of "Guardian's Aspect" going to be after the guildleve reform takes place?
    We'll be making it so utilizing guardian's aspect will grant you a bonus at the time of defeating an enemy and also upon completion.

    Bonus SP will be given at the end of a leve quest – If players cannot completely clear a levequest, will a partial SP bonus be given?
    You will not receive the stored SP bonus if you fail to complete the levequest. For crafting local leves, if you need to succeed 4 times but only succeed 3 times and run out of materials you will not receive a bonus since the requirements were not met.

    Since guildleves will be mainly a focus for solo player content, do you have any plans of lowering the 36 hour cool down time on new leves?
    In regards to 36 hour refresh time, the development team is looking into increasing the refresh time. In doing so, there may be the sense that there won't be anything to do, so they are considering possibly increasing the amount of leves you can hold at once. However, there are a lot of elements this would affect, so please let us know your thoughts and opinions.

    Wow! i'm wondering if these completion bonuses will be enough to proceed with the leveling process when the timer will be raised...

    Hi Bayohne,

    Thanks for taking the time to ping Yoshida-san about pressing questions we have.

    One rather large, pressing question that a lot of people are worried about (if you can ask):

    * Is SE planning on giving us more places to gain SP for Parties when the Guildleve changes take place in 1.18?

    I know they're doing a major Map and Enemy Redistribution (long term), but are there immediate plans to help grant new areas to gain SP in a Party format when Guildleves change?

    Please answer this.... It seems like after 1.18 it will be very difficult to level.

    In one of the "translated from Japanese" 2 interesting things came up

    1. Yoshi admits there will be an SP drought between 1.18 and 1.20 where the guildleves are being changed in 1.18 but the multiple ways to SP wont be in full effect until 1.20.

    2. He mentioned a ton of ways to SP, but didn't really mention an exact timeline. Yoshi also mentioned Beastman fortress', chocobo's and hamlets... He didn't say when they would happen though.... He also mentioned MOB distribution and respawn times and implied that by 1.20 (Maybe even 1.19) they would be changed in a way to suit party leveling

    It already feels like there are many times when there is nothing to do, and I often attribute this to the 36 hour cooldown time. I always think if it were shorter, I wouldn't notice my boredom on XIV as much, but if you were to make it longer...... I don't like the sounds of that.

    Edit: Regarding the post above mine, I think it's an abomination they are effectively lowering our methods to gain SP (in other words play the game enjoyably), without anything to make up for it. All this will do is alienate current players until 1.20 (which could be as far as December if there are 3 month gaps between them like 1.18). It's not easy to readjust yourself to less SP, I know from experience. Oftentimes it's easier to flatout quit. Just what the game needs, great.

    sooo why did he change guild leves now, if they got nothing to get sp on for 2-3 months.... I dont see it effecting battle... uhh...... ok bro....
