    I never said that it says its exclusively for solo players so what you on about? I said IT is ment to be revolved around soloing, as quoted from the official page:

    guildleves will be reborn as solo-oriented content
    Solo oriented content that is not worth it unless you get 4-8 people is bad game design. Its contradicting itself.

    It seems you misunderstood me. I apologize. I am saying this: Solo oriented content does not mean it will be for solo players only. What SE is saying is that it will be more worthwhile to solo guildleves as opposed to what it is now. Meaning, if you do not have enough time it is still worthwhile to solo the guildleve as opposed to knowing you would be getting max sp with a full party. Options is the only thing SE is giving us.

    How is it more worthwhile to solo?

    The way I see it:
    You get less SP from the mobs than you do now, only to get it back at the end and it will just end up being the same, until you add more people and what would before only need 3-4 links to be worthwhile will now need 6-8 links to be worthwhile as it is now, which is not Solo orented, its not even making it easier, its making it worse. And Solos well it will either be super nerfed or just be same.

    Right now:
    Solo - Set SP - Finished 0 SP

    New System
    Solo - Less Set SP - Finished SP Bonus

    Seems like one side gets less, other gets more, in the laws of scales it balances out to be identical, seems like a change but no change unless the finish SP Bonus is Insane, but this is SE so I am suspected it to be sucky, because if its Insane

    Could I leve share and get insane boost? Seems not as they said you get less for Leve-Sharing.

    So as a 2nd Player joining player 1's PT, I will get LESS sp from the mobs, and then LESS sp shared boost, and then either: No SP at end OR Same SP boosted as p1 at end OR nerfed SP boost at end


    Right now:
    Max SP Boost granted @ 4

    New System:
    Max SP boost granted near 8.

    Requiring more people to get an optimal beneficial output for a system that is supposedly getting put to the side and is supposed to be solo oriented and getting the nerf hammer? Seems all a bit messed up.

    Maybe the SP reward at end will be worthwhile, but unless I get my 15kSP Dinners, its worse.

    im said this before somewhere else, they are basically lowering the linking bonus, and putting it into completion bonuses, in theory.
    say you get your 15sp dinners, well first of all they will probably reduce its effecientness, so now say its a 12k dinner
    now take half of that bonus and put it on the completion bonus.
    boom 6k from battle with four links, and 6k from completion.
    before with links you could boost sp gains by what 200%?
    so before a solo person doing the exact same work as you would get 4k for dunesfolk. now he will get 4k+6k for completion.
    boom huge boost for solo players who do leves.

    but lets now look at groups,
    they still get an additional 4k for the kills during it, and while its lower than before, its still pretty good, and advanatgeous to grouping, now throw in speed and difficulty completion bonuses, and its probably even better for groups, and more entertaining.

    the major difference is it wont take a soloer 10 resets to get one level.

    it really depends on the bonus, but i can only imagine it will be signifigant.

    Don't forget that by completing the leve you will not be guaranteed it again on the reset so you probably won't have Dunes to do anyway. This makes it less desirable to group as if the SP is given on completion then is it only given to the starter and linkers or will sharers also get the bonus too? If it is only given to the Leve starter and Linker and you can not get the same Leves as other people, grouping up will die very quickly for Leves but then they are being aimed at solo so mission achieved I guess.

    I hope that by doing this in 1.18 they have another form of gaining SP ready for people that like to play in a group, I do not think it will be the dungeons as they are on a cool down and I would hope they are not expecting people to run the same R25 Dungeon from 25-44.

    It depends on if the person that doesn't have the leve active gets sp for helping or not. Obviously they won't get the lump sum at the end.

    If you only get sp if you have the leve active, then people would be able to 8x link at the same time to complete it in half the time (instead of 2 runs of 4x - it could be done in 1). You'd be able to make the mobs harder and the reward would probably be higher than just soloing it at a lower difficulty.

    If you still get SP for helping, then it could take 4x longer to complete since you'd have 8 people activating their links one at a time.

    It's really hard to say how partying up for leves will work out now. Only time will tell

    I do need to take Premium's side on this. The current mob placement/respawn respawn rates are very awful so the only real way to get SP is from guildleves, so unless they adjust that in 1.18 leveling is going to really suck.

    I parsed some questions from throughout the thread and brought them up to the team. Without further ado...

    What is the role of "Guardian's Aspect" going to be after the guildleve reform takes place?
    We'll be making it so utilizing guardian's aspect will grant you a bonus at the time of defeating an enemy and also upon completion.

    Bonus SP will be given at the end of a leve quest – If players cannot completely clear a levequest, will a partial SP bonus be given?
    You will not receive the stored SP bonus if you fail to complete the levequest. For crafting local leves, if you need to succeed 4 times but only succeed 3 times and run out of materials you will not receive a bonus since the requirements were not met.

    Since guildleves will be mainly a focus for solo player content, do you have any plans of lowering the 36 hour cool down time on new leves?
    In regards to 36 hour refresh time, the development team is looking into increasing the refresh time. In doing so, there may be the sense that there won't be anything to do, so they are considering possibly increasing the amount of leves you can hold at once. However, there are a lot of elements this would affect, so please let us know your thoughts and opinions.

    Hi Bayohne,

    Thanks for taking the time to ping Yoshida-san about pressing questions we have.

    One rather large, pressing question that a lot of people are worried about (if you can ask):

    * Is SE planning on giving us more places to gain SP for Parties when the Guildleve changes take place in 1.18?

    I know they're doing a major Map and Enemy Redistribution (long term), but are there immediate plans to help grant new areas to gain SP in a Party format when Guildleves change?
